After watching the "Children of Winter" this past week, there seemed to be something missing form the movie. It was Warren Millers voice and the movie itself was lacking something. It had some great skiing/riding clips, but it just seemed not up to the standard of past Warren Miller flicks. Warren Millers website provided an explaination. Warren Miller no longer has any affiliation with "Warren Miller" films. He has nothing to do with the making of the movies. In the past years his voice has been dubbed in, but he himself is not part of the process of making the movies. Warren Miller made some great movies in the past, your lack of participation and influence will be missed.

COW is totally awesome! Warren Miller nevers fails to put out an awesome film. I was super lucky in Aspen - I got to hang out with the production coordinator, Jesse. Talk about a cool cat.

I have a signed-by-the-author, First Edition copy of Warren Miller's first book, "Wine, Women, Warren and Skis" published in 1958 by Warren himself in Los Angeles. It belonged to my late father, who was a big fan of Warren back in the 50's. The book is in excellent condition, and contains many of Warren's original drawings and photographs. I would like to sell it, and wonder if someone can give me an idea of an online site where I could offer it for sale to ski fans. Thanks - Wendy

Hey Wendy- That's great!!! You found an autographed copy of Warren Miller's 1958 book, that your father treasured, and what else could you possibly think of than to sell it ? I suggest you hold on to it, and someday it might help you remember the passion your dad had for all the great things that skiing gives to us . Those years after WWII is when the sport really took off. Your dad was part of it, a lucky guy.
